Barbara Sabido, Executive Director
Barbara, her husband Tom, and their four sons have been a foster family since 2005. Over the course of those 16 years they’ve provided a home for, and fallen in love with, 17 foster children, and provided respite for many more. Barbara joined the board in 2010, and has served as Executive Director since 2015. She draws upon her experience in non-profit work, office administration, event coordination, and former co-trainer of Marin’s new foster families on a daily basis. Her many years of fostering in Marin give her a unique perspective on how MFCA can best support foster parents and the children they care for.
