MFCA is proud of our strong partnership with Marin County Children and Family Services. We work closely with program managers, supervisors and social workers to ensure our programs are aligned with regulations so that our foster families and children receive the best support available.
TLC Child and Family Services is a Foster Family (FFA) and Adoption Agency. They work in collaboration with the Marin Foster Care Association to ensure foster and adoptive families in Marin have a sense of belonging and community.
College of Marin offers training through the Foster and Kinship Care Education (FKCE) Program. FKCE works in conjunction with MFCA to provide caregiver education on relevant topics.
Cake4Kids provides homemade birthday cakes for children in foster care. Their bakers create beautiful, one-of-a-kind cakes and cupcakes for our kids. Submit your request AT LEAST 2 weeks in advance of the birthday or special occasion. Click here to download the order form and instructions.
Seneca provides Marin’s foster children with wrap services and partners with MFCA on our annual Holiday Party and Summer Picnic.
Marin’s Court Appointed Special Advocates – CASAs – are highly trained, court-appointed volunteers responsible for making recommendations to the court for the safety, permanence and well-being of every child assigned a CASA.
AdvoKids protects the right of every foster child in California to safety, security, and a permanent home.
One Simple Wish has been making small miracles happen for foster children and vulnerable families since December 2008. If there is something your foster child “wishes” for that is outside of your financial abilities, consider submitting the request, via MFCA, to One Simple Wish. Wishes should not exceed $500 and must be made on behalf of an actual child, young adult or family.
