Court Appointed Special Advocates
CASA’s are highly trained, court-appointed volunteers responsible for making recommendations to the court for the safety, permanence and well-being of foster children.
AdvoKids protects the right of every foster child in California to safety, security, and a permanent home.
Wasacz Hilley & Fullerton
Minor’s Council is an integral part of our work. All foster families should be in regular contact with their foster child’s lawyer.

TLC Child & Family Services
TLC collaborates with MFCA to ensure foster and adoptive families in Marin have a sense of belonging and community.
College of Marin
COM offers training through the Foster and Kinship Care Education (FKCE) Program. FKCE works in conjunction with MFCA to provide caregiver education on relevant topics.
Seneca provides Marin’s foster children with wrap services and partners with MFCA on our annual Holiday Party and Summer Picnic.
Cake4Kids provides homemade birthday cakes for children in foster care. Submit your request AT LEAST 2 weeks in advance of the birthday or special occasion.
Supporting your foster child’s educational needs can be a full-time job.
School District Liaisons
Marin County Office of Education maintains a list of foster child liasons for each school district.
Matrix Parent Network
Matrix is a well-respected program supporting families of special-needs children.
Horatio Alger Association
The Horataio Alger Scholarship Program specifically assists high school students who have faced and overcome great obstacles in their young lives.
